The new SS2011 accessories collection from Forget-Me-Not is inspired by Mythology. Designer Coco’s 100% silk scarves – which are are digitally printed in Como, Italy – depict scenes featuring characters whose tales of heroism, romance and mystery have captured mankind’s imagination across the centuries.
As always, the Forget–Me-Not muses appear in the form of delicate female characters depicted in dreamlike scenarios. Fine featured and full of mischief, these sylphs are surrounded by winged creatures and fantastical beings including butterfly, ornate shells and tropical birds. Twisted ropes of pearls snake through elegant tuniques whilst Coco’s unique geometrical abstractions add a graphic quality that compliments the whimsical nature of her illustrations.
In a palette of ocean blues, rich purple and midnight black, on which brighter hues are set off against a backdrop of neutral tones to give each composition a beguiling sense of depth. Moreover, with every design meticulously rendered by hand, this latest collection in the highly successful Forget-Me-Not series is a covetable extension of Coco’s work as a sought after fashion illustrator.

Agent Provocateur’s new bridal ads featuring Kate Moss. She is no ordinary bride. The picturesque fantasy and horror-themed photoshoot depicts Moss in a surreal world of bleeding heads, skulls, and crossbones. Kate slipped into virginal white bridal lingerie to make her comeback as the face of a new range from racy lingerie designers Agent Provocateur. I quite like it, because lingerie campaign are so boring, all the time.
Born in Liege, Belgium, Natalia Brilli studied at the prestigious Cambre school in Brussels. Straddling the worlds of theatre and fashion, she designed sets and costumes whilst simultaneously collaborating with established fashion designers until, after joining Paris’ IFM in 2003, she decided to devote all her energy to her life’s passion: fashion accessories.
When Olivier Theyskens was the designer at Rochas, Natalia was head of the accessories. After she decided to establish her own brand in 2005. She was given the Andam award for accessories in 2006.
Her new Fall-Winter 2008-09, she presents us a dark world evolving around the equestrian theme. The range includes elements like leather rope, chain, braids, fringes, horsehair, goat fur and burned wood incorporated into her trademark leather jewellery and sculptural handbags. As always, it’s beautiful.
Sandra just email us her new collection, I love it as always. Have a look to her website.
