I am delighted to announce that I have taken part in a very exciting project that has just been published. Victionary’s Fashion Wonderland is a selection of images taken from the work of contemporary fashion illustrators.
You will find 5 pages under Coco and much more in very varied styles, including some definite illo nuggets. A reference book and a very beautiful object with a great lay-out and nice sleek print, all in all, a must buy.

( Illustration is everywhere in our life and permeates through all aspects of design - industrial design, interior design, product design and many more. Most generally and distinctly, it impacts on the world of fashion. The luminous work demonstrated in the book is certainly a thrilling and stirring composition of captivating symphony in fashion design!
Hot fashion illustration grabs everyone’s attention and influences shopper’s choice. It brings fashion stand out of the clutter. Following Fashion Unfolding, Fashion Wonderland specifically studies the visual illustration in fashion, depicts its empowerment in all kinds of medium such as print, installation, interior decoration etc. in the fashion empire around the globe. )

In Milan in September, the Prada runway show was a buzz with Miuccia filling the runway with silk-printed tunics, cropped flared trousers, and nymph and fairy prints. This print is the iconic print for the Spring season and is seen on their handbags, clothing, and even their shoe boxes.

Two artists were commissioned from Prada to do the illustrations for this season’s looks.
The one who did the illustration on this bag is the eloquent James Jean.
